Sligo Hawthorn, May 2016
~~productSavingTitle~~
Sligo's landscape at its most unspoilt and mystical. Jonathan found this tree on high ground between the Ox Mountains and the Bricklieves. The land had laid untouched, ungrazed in a number of years and the meadow grass was thick and up to his chest in places. The hawthorne tree projects out from a limestone ledge - part of the caste limestone landscape that breaks through the surface on high ground in places in sligo.
